Last Wednesday was a fabulous evening where the 5 Rotary clubs in East Gippsland came together to celebrate 100 years of Rotary in Australia. Congratulations to Peter Sindrey for bringing together a wonderful night. Our club at last had the opportunity to present Marie Graham a Paul Harris Fellow for her great work with the Tabitha Foundation and house building program in Cambodia
Dear Jeff and the Rotary Club of Lakes Entrance,
I want to convey my humble thanks for the Paul Harris Fellow recognition by the Rotary Club of Lakes Entrance. It was very much a shock (!) and I am very aware of how special this recognition is.
I really don't feel that I deserve recognition because I enjoy the Cambodia trip so much and I feel like I get the most rewards (and I will argue that there are many people much more worthy than me), but I was very honoured that the work done in Cambodia and all of the teams that have built houses in Cambodia were highlighted. It really is a special project and I thank the Rotary Club of Lakes Entrance for their generous support over so many years.
Yours sincerely,
Marnie Graham
Lions and Men's Shed are the Winners
This week we very much enjoyed our annual evening of Bowls against the Lions Club and Men's Shed. It was wonderful for Bill and Judy Degnam (District Governor Elect) and Irene's sister Eunice to join our teams , but it was not enough to get us over the line.
The real winner was the friendship and enjoyment of socialising with the Lions Club and Men's Shed . in 2022 we will schedule the event in February during daylight saving time.

After the game.
This week we have a Board meeting to finalise disbursements for 2020/21 and we will be back at the Central on the 12th May
Stay Safe
Jeff
